If you need to move a domain name to a different registrar, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buydomains.com.ph\/transfer-domain-another-registrar\/\">Transfer domain to another registrar<\/a>.<\/p><div class=\"alert alert-warning\">\u00a0<strong>Required:<\/strong>\u00a0If you\u2019ve just added Protected Registration and enabled two-step verification on your account, you must wait 72 hours AND cancel Protected Registration before moving your domain to another Buydomains.com.ph account.<\/div><div class=\"alert alert-warning\">\u00a0<strong>Required:<\/strong>\u00a0Your domain\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0be\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buydomains.com.ph\/domain-faq-unlock-domain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unlocked<\/a>\u00a0before you can begin an account change.<\/div><ol><li><ol><li>Log into your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/account.secureserver.net\/products\/#\/?prog_id=501414\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>My Products<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/li><li>If you aren\u2019t automatically directed there, make sure to select the\u00a0<strong>My Products<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li><li>Next to the domain you want to use, click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>.<\/li><li>On the\u00a0<strong>Domains Settings<\/strong>\u00a0page, below\u00a0<strong>Additional Settings<\/strong>, click\u00a0<strong>Transfer domain to another Buydomains.com.ph account<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In the\u00a0<strong>Begin Account Change<\/strong>\u00a0window, enter and re-enter the\u00a0<strong>Email address<\/strong>\u00a0of the recipient.<\/li><li>If you know the recipient\u2019s customer number, select\u00a0<strong>I have\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0and then enter the account login information. The email address entered\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0be the same email used for the shopper account contact email,\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0the domain administrator email.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><p class=\"note\">\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0If you don\u2019t know the new registrant\u2019s login information, leave this field blank, and then select\u00a0<strong>Enter new details<\/strong>.<\/p><ol><li>In\u00a0<strong>Domain\u2019s contact information<\/strong>, select one of the following:<p class=\"note\">\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0The new registrant\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Customer # or login name<\/strong>\u00a0might be required or optional depending on what you select here. For\u00a0<strong>Enter new details<\/strong>, it\u2019s optional. For all other options, it\u2019s required. If entered, the value must match information on file in the receiving account.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Enter new details<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Enter contact information for the new registrant.<\/li><li><strong>Use details from specified customer account<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Use contact information from the account you entered in step 6. (This won\u2019t work until the specified customer has setup their settings page to include all necessary information.)<\/li><li><strong>Do not change<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Retain the contact information currently assigned to the domain name you\u2019re moving. Selecting\u00a0<strong>Do Not Change<\/strong>\u00a0will\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0prompt the ICANN Change of Registrant email to be sent for either party, gaining or losing.<p class=\"note\">\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0If moving a country-code top-level domain name (ccTLD), you might have to select this option and have the new registrant contact our support department to update the contact information. While contact information is updating, the domain will show a status of\u00a0<strong>Pending Update<\/strong>, and the change of account will not proceed until the change is complete. For more information, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buydomains.com.ph\/domain-faq-cctlds-country-code-domain-names\/\">About ccTLDs (Country-Code Domain Names)<\/a>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>Keep the current nameservers for this domain<\/strong>\u00a0to retain the current nameservers for the domain name. If you don\u2019t select this option, we park the domain name when the new registrant activates it in the new account.<p class=\"note\">\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Any nameserver change will bring a live site down. You can\u2019t reverse a cancellation after you agree to the move. There will be a 10-day transfer lock after the domain is moved into a new account.<\/p><\/li><li>Read the\u00a0<strong>Domain Name Change of Registrant Agreement<\/strong>, and, if you agree to the terms, select\u00a0<strong>I have read and agree to the Domain Name Change\u2026<\/strong>.<p class=\"note\">\u00a0<strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0When you change the Organization or the First name or the Last name (in the absence of an Organization entry), you must agree to a 60-day lockdown to continue.
