This guide walks you through quickly adding products to your catalog. You can also configure advanced product information to use features such as discounting your products and setting up inventory.<\/p><div class=\"many-open all-closed\"><h3 class=\"display\" title=\"addproduct\"><a title=\"enabling\" href=\"https:\/\/www.secureserver.net\/help\/article\/5361?ci=1827&amp;prog_id=501414#enabling\">Adding Products<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"stretcher\"><p>You can quickly add products to your catalog using the basic information required for you to start selling online.<\/p><h4>To Add a Product<\/h4><ol><li>Log in to your Buydomains.com.ph account.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In the\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>\u00a0list, click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.<\/li><li>From the\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0menu, in the\u00a0<strong>Catalog<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Add Product<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If the\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>\u00a0message window displays, select\u00a0<strong>Don\u2019t show this message again<\/strong>, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Title<\/strong>, enter a name for your product.<\/li><li>From the\u00a0<strong>Product type<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu, select one of the following:<ul><li><strong>Standalone<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Contains basic product functionality and fits most products.<\/li><li><strong>Downloadable<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you sell digital files as products.<\/li><li><strong>Configurable<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you configure products with multiple variations and options. (For example, selling T-shirts in multiple colors and sizes.)<\/li><li><strong>Bundle<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you bundle your product with other products in your catalog.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>To add images to your product, click either of the following:<ul><li><strong>Select an image<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you select images uploaded to the Media Gallery.<ul><li>Select\u00a0<strong>One-Image<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Multi-Image<\/strong>, drag and drop images on top of the\u00a0<strong>Click &amp; drag image here<\/strong>\u00a0thumbnails, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Upload New<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you upload new images from your computer.<ul><li>Select an image file to upload, and then click\u00a0<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Price ($)<\/strong>, enter the price you want to charge customers for your product.<\/li><li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Item #\/SKU<\/strong>, enter an item number for your product which will identify it for inventory and invoices.<\/li><li>If you want to charge taxes on your product, select\u00a0<strong>Item is taxable<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Full Description<\/strong>, enter a description for your product.<\/li><li>If you want the description you entered to display as your product\u2019s short description on your storefront, select\u00a0<strong>Use this description as short description<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong><i>Optional:<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0If you selected\u00a0<strong>Downloadable<\/strong>\u00a0for your\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>, do the following:<ul><li>In the\u00a0<strong>Downloadable Settings<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Upload New<\/strong>, select a file to upload, and then click\u00a0<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If you want to limit the number times customers can download your product and the period of time it\u2019s available for download, select\u00a0<strong>Limit download number<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Limit download time<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><i>Optional:<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0If you selected\u00a0<strong>Configurable<\/strong>\u00a0for your\u00a0<strong>Product Type<\/strong>, do the following:<ul><li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Options<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li><li>In the\u00a0<strong>Configurable Options<\/strong>\u00a0section, from the\u00a0<strong>Available Options<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down menu, select an option, and then click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li><li>After selecting option choices, click\u00a0<strong>Generate Grid<\/strong>, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>. Advanced product information includes features such as discounting your products, setting up inventory, and setting up Google Product Search.<\/p><h4>To Configure Advanced Product Information<\/h4><ol><li>Log in to your Buydomains.com.ph account.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In the\u00a0<strong>Quick Shopping Cart<\/strong>\u00a0list, click\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to use.<\/li><li>From the\u00a0<strong>Manage<\/strong>\u00a0menu, in the\u00a0<strong>Catalog<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Products<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click one of your product names to edit, and then select any of the following tabs:<ul><li><strong>Images<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you update product images.<ul><li>If you want to update your product images, click\u00a0<strong>Media Gallery<\/strong>, and then do the following:<ul><li>Select\u00a0<strong>One-Image<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Multi-Image<\/strong>, drag and drop images on top of the\u00a0<strong>Click &amp; drag image here<\/strong>\u00a0thumbnails, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you want to display text when customers mouse over your images, next to\u00a0<strong>Image Alternate Test<\/strong>, enter the text you want to display.<\/li><li>If you\u2019re finished configuring your product, click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Advanced Pricing<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you set up limited time discounts on products or discounts for customers buying in bulk.<ul><li>\u00a0<\/li><li>If you want to set up discounts for a limited time, in the\u00a0<strong>Sales Prices<\/strong>section, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and then do the following:<ul><li>Enter either a\u00a0<strong>Sale Price<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Percentage Discount<\/strong>\u00a0amount, and then enter a\u00a0<strong>Start Date<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>End Date<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you want to set up discounts for customers buying in bulk, in the\u00a0<strong>Tiered Pricing<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and the do the following:<ul><li>Enter the\u00a0<strong>Minimum Quantity<\/strong>\u00a0amount, and then enter the discounted\u00a0<strong>Price<\/strong>\u00a0you want to charge customers.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you\u2019re finished configuring your product, click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Advanced Info\/Display<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Lets you specify the condition of your product, add a manufacturer name, and change your product display.<ul><li>Next to\u00a0<strong>Condition<\/strong>, select the type of condition your product is currently in.<\/li><li>If you want to add a manufacturer name to your product, next to\u00a0<strong>Manufacturer<\/strong>, click\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>, and then do the following:<ul><li>Enter a manufacturer name, and then click\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If you want to enter an item number for the manufacturer, next to\u00a0<strong>Manufacturer\u2019s #<\/strong>, enter the manufacturer\u2019s item number.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you want to list your product in the Featured Items sidebar on your storefront, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Featured product<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If you want to remove your product from your storefront, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>section, select\u00a0<strong>Hide<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If you want to display your product in Google Product Search, in the\u00a0<strong>Display<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0<strong>Show in Google Product Search<\/strong>.
